Yes, you read that right… superheroes!
1. Giving back
Superman, Iron Man, Spiderman… it’s in a superhero’s nature to give – even when they’re not appreciated for their efforts! They save individuals and they save entire communities from the plague of a super villain’s devious plans…
One of the most overlooked and/or underrated aspects of a successful property-investing career is the idea of giving back.
Giving back to those individuals who helped you along the way, as well as paying it forward by giving to individuals and communities who need a hand up – such as those helped through my favourite charity, Room to Read.
2. Getting help to defeat the “bad guys”
Kryptonite… not a good thing for Superman. Spiderman and Iron Man may not be affected by Kryptonite but they have their own battles.
Peter Parker had to struggle to become a photographer, and Clark Kent’s charm was overlooked and disregarded when Superman came around…
The point is, when these guys were overwhelmed by their enemies ganging up together against them, they got help from other powerful players to save the day.
What about your ‘bad guys’? Do they stop you from reaching your goals?
I’m talking about fear, poor money management, debt…
Whatever you’re dealing with, there is a way to reach your investing goals… and you will find the information and help you need here.
3. Using your “superhero strength” to get the job done.
What are your strengths and weaknesses?
When you learn to play to your strengths and get help with your weaknesses you’ll enjoy a level of success you never thought possible.
4. Never giving up in the face of defeat
Don’t you love an “underdog” story?
I know I do.
No matter what life throws at Clark Kent, he always strives to be a better man, and to find happiness, all while saving the world, of course!
Property investing is not a straight line, and don’t let anyone ever tell you that it is. There will be ups and downs, but the better prepared you are the less impact any setbacks will have on your wealth creation efforts.
Remember – investing in property is a long-term proposition – it always has been!
5. Living to fight another day
People love superheroes because they fight hard and always strive to do what’s right for themselves and those they care about.
They’re also smart in that they don’t attempt to run out and destroy every villain they can think of! They simply take them on as they come…
Property investors should do the same. It takes time to build up a portfolio large enough to provide the passive income you’re after, so take a cue from Superman… pace yourself!
